CCA, PQ testimonials

Hi everyone,

We have to resubmit our testimonials to limle@hci.edu.sg because Mrs Lim cannot access yahoo email in school asap. For those, who haven't finish their testimonials, try to finish and submit asap after blocks. Remember to get your friend to write a testimonial for you too. Thanks.

math mock blocks for mrs lim's class:
FRIDAY 20 JUNE
9am-12noon: do paper
venue: A207

1-3pm: go through paper
venue: to be confirmed on the day itself.

To bring: all required instruments and writing paper
pls come for both sessions if you signed up. and be punctual.

*VERY IMPT for ki students*
pls note that our paper for blocks is 2 hours unlike our previous blocks/promos, since we're doing the full paper 2 (critical thinking). for now, you can email any queries you still have about theories etc to ms selva. pls also don't forget about IS :)

CCA and PQ Testimonial

Hi everyone,

Here are some things to take note of for CCA and PQ testimonial.

CCA testimonial- Just look at the handout you received and do accordingly.
Include your CCA achievements, CIP, Service Learning(including OCIP projects.), external CCAs, outside CCA pursuits can also be added, like black belt for taekwondo, grade 8 for piano etc.

PQ testimonial - Include your academic achievements (results) , external academic or non-academic competitions(NYAA, MAS essay, quizzes etc.) , class position (treasurer, welfare rep) and personal qualities (kind, honest). Add all your other things that you did not add in CCA testimonial, the list is not exhaustive) Mrs Lim, at her own discretion would decide what to and what not to include.

Friend write testimonial- You MUST ask one friend to write your testmonial, your friend can write whatever he knows about you, your achievements, behavior in class, projects, acadmemic results etc. One person can write for more than one friend (no limit to the number of people you can write for)

For all these testimonials, please check through the checklist on the last page of your handout. Just in case you think you want to spam stuff, the testimonial is only supposed to be one page long. Ensure format, order of your paras and font is correct.

Ensure you have verification (photocopies of documents) for every achievement and CCAs that you include in your testimonials, except class position and academic results (duh..) Submit all these verification documents by first week of Term 3.

When emailing your testimonials to Mrs Lim, please indicate whether you are a scholar holding pre-u scholarships(for e.g. LEP ). Also indicate if you are going to apply for a scholarship this year (PSC or any other thing).

Submit everything asap to limlineng@yahoo.com by this Friday(23th May), if not, try to hand up by next Monday.

Sorry to post something so boring here..haha. But, remember to do the CCA testimonial and Personal Qualities Testimonial and send it to limlineng@yahoo.com.sg by next Friday(23thMay).
Also think about what you all want to do for the next ct session. Think of ideas of what food to bring then maybe tell me or just post on tag board so everyone got more options to choose from.

Hi everyone,

STJ would be at sakae sushi at OUB centre at Basement 1. Just take train to Raffles MRT station and you can see it once you come up by the escalator. Think there is an underground tunnel linking the station to the oub centre too.

As the dinner buffet starts at 6.30 and ends at 8.30, do come earlier! The earlier you come, the more worth it it is. Try to come earlier or our seats would be given up to others. Try to bring spare money for the buffet. Four orange prices or one blue would be advisable..haha
